Body Conditioning

For the first time we are offering a specialist class aimed at improving flexibility and mobility. These classes prepare students to perform at their best and provide the necessary physical conditioning for technical disciplines.

This is an additional class that will allow dancers to tone and sculpt their muscles aside from their technique classes. A growing body of dance specific research is now beginning to discover and develop the idea that fitter dancers are able to perform better and may also be better protected from injury. Suitable for ages 11years up this class will combine elements of Pilates/cardio/circuits/strength training to assist in a dancer’s physical development.
